I have for many years driven Peugeot cars as indeed have other members of my family.Approximately three years ago I had a mechanical issue which my normal service engineer was unable to identify the problem and recommended that I deal direct with a Peugeot specialist. I knew about the normal Peugeot dealerships but went on line for a local specialist and came up with Autosolutions .After a telephone conversation I decided to try this company and very pleased I did as the problem was quickly identified and dealt with very professionally. Since that occasion I have indeed had cause to use Autosoltions at other times the most recent of which was this week when I had a fault with the heating system on my Peugeot 407.This turned out to be quite a major job but again quite clearly Mr Butler was very competent in dealing with the fault and I would have no hesitations in recommending his services.

It was many years ago now that I first took my Peugeot to Mike's shop Autosolutions when he was still based in Reading. Even now that the shop has moved to Newbury, I keep on coming back because Mike’s quality of service, and prices, are the best. I had a few run-ins with the official dealership garages in the area before (pretty much all of them), and have always been disappointed, if not enraged, with their lack of engineering skill, lack of care in execution, downright unsafe errors introduced to the car when releasing it, over-charging and just your general bad attitude surly talk-down-at-you mechanic when you have to bring back a car a third or a fourth time for a problem that they’ve said they’ve fixed but didn’t (even though they happily charge for every visit). Mike has been a revelation, by comparison – he’s honest, great integrity, timely, keeps his word, always takes the time to explain technical matters and patient even with intractable problems like the intermittent electrical faults that can plague certain models of Peugeot. Autosolutions is hooked up with the official Peugeot diagnostic software, so whether the fault is electrical, mechanical or in the BSi, can diagnose and remediate quickly and efficiently.My car has gone from being in the shop pretty much all the time on expensive mystery repairs with the official dealerships, to humming along without problem in between annual servicing since I started going to Mike's Autosolutions instead. Highly recommended!
